Try looking on craigslist.org; they have sites for all around the country and some foreign countries. Try asking your friends and family if they have any openings at their companies. My best advice is don't do anything you hate; it's not worth it.

Hi Hyhrld, I think it depends on you what kind of job that u want to apply for. You can find which field you more interest in, then try get that kind of work. Maybe it will more diffcult to get the work that we like, then you have to try to like it and enjoy it. Some people will choose the work that near to their house, so that they won't waste too much time on travelling. But for somebosy, they will more concern about the paid. Hence, you have think those question before you want to start the jb that choose by you. Choose it smart and careful!!

That all depends on you. But I dont reccomend mcdonalds for a first job because I worked there and I hated it. It was to fast paced for me to work there and there was no training. YOu want a first job to be easy and an easy job to start off with is at a grocery store or someplace like walmart but nothing is easy at first but it will get easier after a week or two of working there.

My first job was at a supermarket and that was okay. I would think about what your interests and hobbies are. Keep that in mind bc a lot of places offer employee discounts. Waitering earns tips though...
