Culture....How does businesses deal with different cultures

What do you think, How does a person's culture influence his/her personal relationship and communication style? A culture could even be a business culture like how multinational companies cope with different cultures. If you could also write your work position(or whatever you do) along with the response it would help to relaise the response from that point of view.....

I have been in the taxi industry for 20 years. When I started in the industry the majority of men in the industry were Sikhs and gatherings at the temple were commonplace. Then we had the Somalians join the group. Now we were introduced to another culture to embrace and learn about. Now we have people from Croatia and all over the world working here and teaching us about there customs and foods and drinks. In turn we tried to help them adjust to life in Canada and our customs. I think I am lucky to have worked in an industry that has allowed me to meet people from around the globe.
