Instinctively, yes. If it has enough information in it about the owner, like identification cards, driver's license or whatever, I would track down the owner and give it back to him or her. Or I could report it to the police or go to a radio station to seek help, especially if it has a very big amount in it. Who knows I could be on tv the next day. Lol. :D

This is easy. The answer is YES. I would want someone to return my wallet to me with the money in it. It is the right thing to do. you never know what the money is for.

Absolutely, I firmly believe in do unto others as you would have them do unto you; I would want someone to return my wallet and my money so I would, and have, done the same. I am ashamed to admit that when I was younger a boyfriend talked me into taking an entire dayplanner that wasn't mine; apparently this was like the man's purse because it had his entire life in it. There was a lot of money in it, several thousand dollars and my boyfriend just took the money and ditched everything else to get rid of the evidence - I have felt guilty about that for years and would never do that again. I was at an impressionable age back then and have since learned from my mistakes.

Absolutely. i found a fifty dollar bill once and easily could have kept it. I gave it to the clerk at the store (it was a small store). They knew right away whose it probably was and called her. The lady was on soc sec. This was just a bill, no wallet or anything. The number of people telling me I was a fool was very disheartening!

Honestly, truthfully speaking (Yes&NO). I lost my wallet before and i know how it feels. But i would defenitly turn it in just without the money. That depends to. If it was somehow or someway labeled as rent or some sort of important payment medical, for the kids i could'nt take it turn the the whole thing in. But if it was a wad a money with no sign of anything it's finders keepers. Thats what happen to me I had about $400 dollars loose cash and in a bank envelope I had $780 marked rent money. Guess what whoever found my wallet took the $400 and left my rent. I was so greatfull for that. Also i would want whomever lost thier wallet to get back thier important documents driver liscence, credit cards, etc. Those are so hard to get back. Well i hope you dont think im a bad person but truthfully speaking.
