I know, Iknow...not something we like to discuss right!
I have two dogs and I have been slacking on walking them regularly because we have a big fenced in yard for them to play and roam in. We are getting ready to move and the house we are buying doesn't have much of a yard so I want to start walking them to get them used to it again. I took then on a run with me earlier...just a last minute thing, and didn't think to grab any doggy bags. Luckily the trail at the park that I took them on had a little dispenser filled with them. I would hate to just leave it there...I mean it's common courtesy right?
There is a lady that walks her dog by my house everyday, and everyday the dog goes in my neighbors yard...she has not once made an attempt to pick it up. I'm bveginning to wonder if that lady has some sort of vindeta against my neighbor or what! My fiance mows that yard or I wouldn't be too concerned with it...lol. What do you think...is it common courtesy to pick up after your pets? Do you only do it if it's in someone's yard or if you think someone sees?

My dog is perhaps "peculiar" in that he will not go anywhere but his own yard. He'll pee, but he won't poop. As a matter of fact, when we moved he held it for 2 days and went on the bathroom floor once before he was "ok" with going in the yard. It just wasn't his yard yet, I guess.
Even though I KNOW that he won't go anywhere but his yard, I always bring a few baggies and a bag to carry them in with me when I walk him. I think that it's just a common courtesy to clean up after your dog.
