A Song.... So Close to your heart...

There are thousand of beautiful Indian song which have touched our heart and gone. I am very much touched by patriotic songs. The song from movie Hakiqat....."kar chale ham fida jaan aur tan satiyo, ab tumhare hawale watan sathiyo.......I cannot hear this song.......my eyes cry and I feel such a terrible pain in my heart that I actully have to hold my heart with my both the hands. Also the song "sandese aade hai" from Border, is very touching, I also like the gazal, chitti ayi hai watan se chitti ayi hai, and "ye dalut bi lelo, yeh shorat bhi lelo, magar mujh lauta do woh kagaz ki kashti woh barish ka pani " I like all songs from Mohabbate,specailly "hamko hami se chura lo......" I also like romantic songs, specially,when I hear the song.....zra zra bhekta hai, mehkta hai, yeh mera dil....." makes feel very romantic.....lol. I think hindi is one language where one can express all feelings very well in songs. I liked this discussion. I hope many Indians will reply to you.

There are several bollywood songs which not only leave an impact but it feels to someone that its his story. I was a child when I heard a song "rook jana nahin tu kahin haar ke,phoolon me bhi milenge kaante bahar ke" sung by Kishor Kumar n it is very close to my heart even now if I hear this song.. There are so many songs sung by Lata Mangeshkar which I find melodious and worth listening.The list is endless.But the song "lag ja gale ki phir ye haseen raat ho na ho.." I like very much.
