How often do you get a friend request...

if i know the person like my friends i accept it right away., but if i dont know them i will look at thier profile first then accept... i didnt delete any friends list that are not so active... and for those friends that are still active but i didnt hear anything from them... i still give a responce to thier discussions although sometimes i cant coz i m not on the net all the time...

I usually get a few friend's request everyday and I usually check the person's profile to see if there are discussions which would interest me before deciding if I am going to accept the request or not. I haven't browsed through how many friends I have right now but I notice that some of the previous regular friends here are not here anymore. I would really love to keep only active friends on my list because I really want to get to know people and I would be happy if any of my friends would leave me a private message before they completely disappear from mylot, afterall we have been talking back and forth for awhile. I haven't delete any friends so far, but it wouldn't be a bad idea *laughs*.

I get two to three friends request everyday. I have been accepting them. They do not communicate in any manner - through discussions or through responses or through messages. Most of the people think becoming friends means their topics are responded to. I keep deleting such friends once a month. IT should be two way traffic.

I don't get alot of friend requests but when I do get one I except it.I will check the persons profile to see who decided I was worthy enough to be thier friend.I don't ever delete anyone,active or not.I don't dump friends in real life for not being around much and I don't here either.

I used to get about 5 a day when I just started. Occassionally the number drops. Now I rarely get a friend request..its like 1 every week. Nay, I'm not concerned about the friend request cause I knew I had found some good friends here like Abbey19 (infact, I met up with her recently in GoldCoast). Then I got you as one of my great friend in myLOT and another one Syain1972 (whom is not so active of late due to her morning sickness). My friend who introduce me to myLOT is not as active as before cause she is too engrossed in finding financial freedom through internet... Now my concern is and hope is to meet some of myfrens from myLOT especially squaretile and syain1972 as we are from the same country. The next time I visit Kuala Lumpur, I would love to meet up with you too. How about that?

mostly everyday or whenever i make a new discussions people would just add me up coz of my discussions :) and i really appreciate them for adding me up and having me on their friends list :)

I'll get a friend request about once every day. I usually let it sit for a few days to see if their rating goes up which means they are active and then I'll accept them.

The first thing I will check is if they have responded to one of my discussions lately, if not I will take the time to see what kind of discussions they make - if their topics could be in my interest. If not then I will deny. I take alot of time responding to the section "discussions my friends started" so I do not need people taking up space there =) I have alot of friends now, however it is time for some deletion since some of them has left mylot!

I do get friend's request most of the time when I response to discussions outside the email notifications I received. I would just accept the request as I do not reject any requests. It is not nice to reject anyone who comes knocking at your door, right? As to whether they are actively responding to my discussions or not, I am concerned but not too bothered. I just leave them there. Having one friend is better than having an enemy :P

Hi gr8life. I get requests on a daily basis. I do check out the profiles, and have only turned down two that I can recall. I have deleted a few for personal reasons. I don't like to delete anyone, but there are some who I have not heard from or seen any posts from in quite some time, so I probably will go through them and delete the ones I think won't be back. If I had friends that stopped responding to my discussions and I saw they were still active, I would have to assume that they probably dropped me as a friend. It would hurt, but that's life. I currently have over 200 friends. Whenever I get a request from a newbie I will accept them because I know how it felt when I first came to myLot. Everyone wants to be accepted.

when i'm a newbie on mylot, i can receive a friend request everyday, and sometimes, i receive over 5 friend requests everyday, but now i receive a freind request every 3 days. They are often newbies. Frankly, i don't need many freinds here, because most of them don't give me any response, and i often respond my friends' discussions. I don't view my friends' profile at all. I pay more attention to their discussions.

In the beginning i used to get 2-3 requests in a week but now a days i'm getting 1-2 requests in a month. I think it is because in the beginning i used to write a lot here in mylot but now a days i'm not posting too much. It's because now a days i'm too busy in my work.

for me .if my friend have request to me,i will try my best best to help she or he !in my opininon ,a friend in need is a friend deed!so i am hard to be a real friend!

Only been on here for like 3 days now, but I've averaged about one request per day. If I see a request I'll just add them. I figure if they bothered to request me then it's flattering so why not? If they turn into a nuicence later on I can just delete them I guess. I'm here to meet people and share myself with others too so I'm not going to judge someone solely on their profile.

I dont get much request,I request every one to be my friend.2 or 3 have requested me.Thats all.

I always check out the profiles of my friends requests before deciding. Only a couple of times i have denied because the person had not replied to any topics I had and visa versa. Eventually I will go thru and delete the very inactive. Some of my friends don't respond to my discussions but thats ok. I see them on various topics and I value their views...no i would not delete them for not responding to mine. sometimes there is just nothing to add.

I take a gander at the profile - if it seems like a spam profile of sorts, then they get denied. If any indication shows that I'm about to be re-directed to another site - I hit the X button quick and hit deny.

well in my case i accpet them rtight away i only hacve 2 frie3nd U_U but i hope this increase soon XD i am a friendly person, and have good interest... well i think XD
