To be honest the first thing that comes in to my mind is Imelda Marcos and her famous collection of footwear. How can a person wallow in so much of luxury when the people who trust you are are in poverty.Where is the conscience?
The next thing that comes to my mind is the beautiful girls.
But it is a pity that most of them are having tough time as maids in many countries.
Will you please tell me more about your country. You can correct me if I am wrong.

I know about filipino girls. My neighbor's nanny is a filipino. She is a treat to watch and you must see the way she looks after the kids.As you say she is very affectionate and perfect. You can be very very proud of your community. In this present world where love and care are lacking you people have those qualities in plenty.I adore you for that.

Hi! Im glad you know Imelda Marcos, how were you able to know her? Anyway yes it is true that we Filipinos are being typecasted as nannies... But let me share you this I tkae no offense being typcasted as a nanny. But I do take offense that the educated people of the world have somehow denegrated the true sense and meaning what a nanny is. Let me tell you what she is. She is someone you trust to look after the very people most preciuos to you- your child, the elderly, yoursself. She is the one who has made a living out of caring and loving other people. To those who have typecasted us as nannies, I thank them. It is a testament toi the loving and caring culture of the filipini people. And t of my roots that I am forever proud and grateful of my roots and culture...

wohoooo!proud to be pinoy!..i believe that when it comes to attitude, filipinos are the best!for bein so hospitable and so helpful..but the bad part of us filipinos were we are so kind to those people in the other country..i dont know..i've just notice that!...
and filipinas are beautiful and smart!"ms.international precious lara quigaman" is one of the proof!and ofcourse me..haha!
why some people especially in the other country hates filipina?and some of us tagged as nani.?
i just wanted to share with you my experience while chatting with the people in china..when i told them that i am from the philippines, they'll ignore me and will tell me that they dont want to chat with a filipina like me..then,my friend (that i met from chat also) told me that some people of china hate filipinas because we are using some people just to have money..it hurted me so much..but i cnt blame them for saying those things..i know that there are some filipinas who are getting married for them to get out of their poor living..
and for those who tagged as "NANI"..
we're not ashame of that..well.."shame on you!.."^__^

Yeah anyway its their lost not ours... Because some nationaliy are very rationalist. like you have mentioned the chinesse well it is because their mind are preoccopied with money they dont think of a good family and spend a quality time with their family unlike us Filipinos we value our family and we are very family oriented. Well, if they only know how caring and loving we are... Thanks for the response... For that ill mark you as the best response...

I have met some friendly people from the Philippines working or traveling overseas. From My Lot members I have seen some gorgeous looking photos of beaches and islands in the Philippines. I read about fantastic island hopping experiences. I would really like to visit the famed Chocolate Hills.

I am a proud pinoy for so many things. We have Lea Salonga and so many other famous filipinos and filipinas are good cook I can say. These filipinos make me proud and stand up with pride.. Plus We are blessed with wonders of nature. Boracay and so many unnamed sceneries. Sun and rain and white clouds and blue sky makes me feel ease. This is my country and I love to stay here forever.

Honestly, if i could choose not to be born a filipina i will. I always think that its such a disadvantage to be born a Filipino/Filipino, well unless you're super rich or your family's in politics and very corrupt and then your probably rich.
I also think Boracay is so overrated. Foreigners only go there because its the cheapest place so-so beach they can be where people look up to them like they're gods... Just my opinion..

Hi jbelle! :) I am proud of being a pinay! Even if there are certain part in this world who dislikes our race, well, I don't care. They got that impression. They miss one big opportunity to get to know hospitable, helpful and thoughtful Filipinas. :) *wohooooo!*
Philippines is a really great country. If we try to open wide our eyes and see the beauty of our country, we'll really be amazed. There are certain parts here in our country that is really considered as paradise. Just think about those retired Americans who prefer to settle here in our country. :)
take care and God bless!

Filipinas are nice accomodating and sincere person. Thay opted to be simple and reserved. And loyal to their partners although some of them have tactless mouth but still filipina are the best. I am not saying those foreigner girls are not nice. Of course they rae also especially those from ireland, europe and us. I am attracted to white girls that are smart and mature.

No! How could any man resist the beauty of filipinas, let alone hate them?? I have been in love with filipinas since i was active duty in the USMC. You filipinas have a power over us men that makes is your helpless loveslaves and u know it! When i went onto the site where i found my filipina fiance, i had 1 goal in mind: find and marry a filipina! In the process of finding the one filipina who captured me, i waded through more than 500 other devastatingly-beautiful filipinas who made me melt like butter with all the sweet things they said to me online. I could not believe it! So i had to make a choice because i could only marry 1 beautiful filipina and i chose my sweet Cebuana who constantly tells me how much she loves me and wants to have my children. I never knew there was a whole country of women who make such wonderful wives. I am madly in love with my filipina and i will be faithful to her, but as i told over 250 other beautiful filipinas, "i would marry you all if i could"

I am proud to be full-blooded Filipina and will continue to be!Each has its own weaknesses and limitations and some really are just bad by nature! So, there are instances that they hurt people, insult people, cheated others, back bite or criticize others, so they were hated by other race or even by their co-Filipina and some people tend not to trust anymore since they will generalize it!I guess, this issue is common to every race and will continue to be a situation since there is no place as perfect!

Hate Filipina? NO no no. In my opinion they are the most honest, open hearted, jovial and beautiful human being in the whole planet. I was born in Manila and I still cherish the moments I spent with these warm loving people. They are the BEST.
Please rank and be my friend.
