I know that lots of people have their own blogs, but do you ever read anyone else's blog? What topics are you interested in when you are looking for blogs, and how do you find blogs that you might like?

I had a blog that I was tryingto makemoney with but that didn't work out. So I don't have a blog but I do sometimes read others if it's something I'm interested in.

Yes I do read blogs, I like reading personal blogs, beauty blogs, or anything that's interesting. I usually would go to Technorati to find blogs because the blogs there are rated and linked by people and you can find something which you might not be able to find through search engines.

I have never been on Technorati, I really need to get over there. I see it mentioned all the time! Thanks for reminding me of the site.

Besides writing my own blogs, I read blogs about music, computers, technology, and how to make small changes to make work, and life, easier or more convenient. There are maybe a dozen blogs I read regularly, and a bunch more than I check in on less frequently.

Yes, I think blogs are really helpful when it comes to technology. Many folks create "how-to" blogs and for those like myself who are not very technologically savvy, this is a great help. I suspect they get a lot of traffic too. Thanks for responding!

I don't go looking for specific blogs. However if someone sends me a link to their blog, I check it out, usually. I will look at all of it, but I guess mainly I look for either good paying programs, or good articles.

There's so much to read online, particularly if you are trying to get ideas for making money. Never enough time, I feel. Thanks for responding.

I read blogs, not that many though and I am interesting in blogs about travel and information about other countries and that tell of the culture of the country along with some recipes, and lots of information so if we decide to visit there, we know where to go. I am a dog lover, so I love blogs about dogs. I also like blogs from writers, with articles on how to improve their writing, etc. (I wonder if Stephen King has a blog, I will have to check into that.) blogs about music, musical instruments, and blogs about Christianity. I am not that into how to make money blogs though. They seem boring and that is why I do not visit as many blogs as I should. I see a link to a blog in a Profile page and I think, "Oh no another make money blog!" and I do not check it. Maybe I should take a chance.

I apologize for responding late. The holidays and then cleaning out my old emails, I disovered this. There is just so much out there in Cyberspace that it is impossible to keep up with everything. With the holidays, I was away from the Internet a lot and it seems overwhelming to check back in (piles of messages), and my own blog has gone astray. I think you have it right, though. It's most valuable to follow what you know you will like when there's just limited time. All those people out there with money making sites makes it hard to weed through. I know they are just trying to make a buck, but for most of us, it's just not that interesting as a blog focused on a particular subject (like dogs or music or writing tips). Good point.

A lot of people seem to just use blogs like personal diaries, which can be interesting...but only if the person is themselves!

Yes sometimes depending on the topic of the blogs. But in some I dont usually read blogs because I am tired of reading long writings if not the sort of my interests. And I hardly open blog sites not unless it was referred to me by a friend. That is the only way I can read blogs.

I agree that a lot of people are writing blogs, but not all of them are necessarily interesting. What topics do you like to read about?
