Anniversary with your partner?

Well, this anniversary was a bad one. We spent it fighting and nearly breaking up. I couldn't sleep so I came down stairs thinking we could spend some alone time together before the kids got up. I couldn't find him anywhere. then i saw him coming back over to the house from our car. but he didn't come in. so i looked out one of the side windows and there he was smoking. he was supposed to have quit years ago. i was heartbroken.
