I used one of the links that this perosn provided, and I got the videos onto my computer...but now I can't play the videos with any of the programs I have on my computer

Oh. I didn't use the first link...I think that one wouldn't work for me. The page wouldn't load, it just stayed blank. And I don't have any media converters, I didn't even know what they were before now! :P I'll go try the fist link again, thanks! :)

you can play the video in VLC player, found at videolan.org. It is contains the necessary codecs to decode any media format that is used today (other than real media).

if you are using mozilla firefox... just download and install a video downloader plugin for firefox and you can start downloading videos from youtube. but if you don't have a mozilla firefox browser you can download a youtube downloader, a flv player or a much recommended flv converter, this will convert your flv video to AVI, Mpg etc so you can watch your downloaded movie to preferred player.

It's so easy. Just copy the URL of the video and download it from"keepvid.com". It's so simple.
You can watch it in the FLV player.
