everyone who has seen this movie has been thinking about this same question for many a times but there are no exact or should i say any genuine replies to their quetions.
I personally feel that TITANIC is a landmark movie in the whole world and making a sequel will be a nu sance and then if they can create part one then they can create many parts as such provided that they give the same amount of attachment as they given for the first movie.
Even if they are making a sequel they should not expect from us to watch the movie just becouse it the sequel of TITANIC.
i would love to see some future of the titanic.

The problem with making a sequel to the Titanic is that it is a romantic movie set in a historical setting. Making a sequel in the real sense- a second movie following the story and the plot line of the first- would undoubtedly be viewed by anybody as nothing more than the company trying to cash in on the first. Also, there would probably be many fans of the Titanic who went to see it even though they knew better, which just encourages Bad Sequel Makers.
The best way to create a 'sequel' without actually following the plot-line is to make a different movie with the same cast. Most people who want a sequel just want to see the same cast. For example, The Knight's Tale was followed by a less financially successful but cinematically good movie known as The Order. It used the same director, the same costume designer, a lot of the same crew, and several members of the Knight's Tale cast.
A sequel to the Knight's Tale would not have been very good.
In the same sense, an actual sequel (Titanic II: the Iceberg Strikes Again) would probably fail where another story with a similar cast and a different story might succeed.

There wouldn't be a point to make a sequel. If so what would it be about? The necklace, other survivors and their take on it? They should leave it alone.
