Did your dog bite you by accident?

I had a dog who loved my mother with all her heart. But she loved a little toy too. One day my mother tried to get the toy, just to clean it, but the dog bite my mother. At the same time she got all ashamed about what she did. My mother didn't say anything to the dog because the poor dog was so ashamed. Did something like that happen to you sometime?

My dog really doesn't try to bite. He will nip at you when you are playing with him. But all he can do is pinch the skin because his mouth is deformed and he can't open it all the way.
