I have personally not had an in office microdermabrasion procedure done. I have heard some pretty negative experiences from people I know and some I don't. The after effects are sometimes good, but I would never pay a doctor that kind of money to burn my face and sometimes even leave scars. They say it's normal to have scabbing a few days after the procedure but that can't be good for your skin! I have tried the microdermabrasion in home kit and I like it. I was worried at first that it may have some of the negative outcome that I heard about, but it didn't. There is no burning and it only takes about 6 minutes. I am so glad I paid $40.00 opposed to the $250.00 for an in office procedure that I would have been so petrified of...I probably would have never gone through with it! Have you ever had tried either one and did you ahve a good or bad experience? Would you ever consider having it done by a doctor after hearing all the horror stories about it? If you have had it done in office did you have a good experience and would you consider doing it again? Please share:)

I use an at home kit for microdermabrasion and I love it! I use the Mary Kay brand.

I have never done one microdermabrasion, neither at home or in an office. It's because my skin is very thin (I can see the blood vessels on my face) and I could react very badly to those stuff if I use it. But I have paid attention to its products and almost every big brands have it now, it's quite amazing really. The closest I have used would be Origins Modern Friction but I don't feel anything really special about it and I wouldn't consider to buy again. I wouldn't pay a doctor to do that to me because I don't really trust them burning my face. But if some of the natural brands have those come out, I might consider giving it a try. I am always there to try new beauty products *laughs*.

I have tried the home kit also, and liked it but I dont think that I would go to have a procedure done.
