I guess this is so irresponsible thing to do to other people just to earn money, manufacture hazardous toys. I know they knew about the implications of that harmful element going into human body, especially shildren. The things people do to earn money. But this one is totally unspeakable. Although I don's the manufacturers to suffer the fate of the children they poison - i don't its right - but I do want their businesses to go bankrupt. Parents, please do be very careful on buying things for your children, you don't want them having problems later just because you want them to have everything they want now.

Hi Ricko82! I feel the same way that you do reagrding these manufactirers. It is cheating your customers of the quality they are paying and whta's more is you put them in some kind of danger that is life threatening just to earn more profits. I hope that they will be put into justice and may the law be not blind by this. It is simply not right. Because of this incident, I hope we will be more careful on what we are buying. We have to look for the quality in each product from hereon. Take care and have a nice day!

well, it's a good thing that these toys were recalled and the company has mitigated the risks of increasing further damages or problems that may arise. i could not completely blame the manufacturers coz mistakes happen or they are not that equipped to check hazardous elements in the first place. parents and consumers should be the first ones to be responsible enough to check it out. and companies and manufacturers should best be more careful in the future. =)

If you're saying that some companies are ill equiped to test whether their manufactured toys have hazardous elements in them, how much the parents. Although I agree with you that parents should be careful buying stuff for their kids, but they have no way of knowing hazardous elements than can only be detected through laboratory test, companies can. It's their responsibility.

I find this issue a bit scary, because it's very easy to just trust the big companies. You think that they have lots of staff who research and test the toys to make sure they are safe.

I think it's really scary when toys for kids are recalled! My son is 2 and a half and he still will put some toys in his mouth. I try not to let him but he's at the age so I can't always stop him in time.

I kind of hope that this may be reason enough for the Americans'to have another age of industrialization...we do not make anything anymore and it is absolutely ridiculous what has happen here in this country...well, that is my opinion....
