Why does life needs trials?

In Christian life, trials are necessary to make the Christian pure. Gold is passed thru fire seven times to make it pure and so also the Christian so that he/she will become mature or perfect. Christians are taught to face trials with joy.

You cannot called it life if there where no trials and problems. Because in life there should be trials because how will you know if you are having faith with him and can survive no matter what trials will come unto your life. And how will you know how strong you are, because trials and problems are the main reaso n why people are getting stronger and stronger.

Hi lean_rose! I think the reason why we need trials in our lives, it is to make us grow wiser, stronger and better individuals. The trials or problems that we may have are to make us better and not bitter. The mistakes we might have committed during those trials should be regarded as lessons in life. We must admit that everyone want to live a happy life without trials. We also must admit that the life of everyone is full of ups and downs. So why? I think it is because that this is life itself. We need trials to enrich our life. Yes,happiness can beutify our life as well. But can anyone avoid making mistakes? We grow up with making mistakes and correcting them. If someone is lucky to grow up without trials,then we can only call him GROW UP,but not MATURE. Do you agree with me?
