I do send free e-cards. My favorite sites for those are hallmark.com, hoops&yoyo.com (division of Hallmark) and dayspring.com. As far as I know they are still free. It is really nice if I don't remember an occasion until that day.

thanks, you know I didn't even think of hallmark! I will check that out. I don't send out birthday cards except to my sisters, so everyone else gets an email note and I thought it would be nice to find some free ecards again.
Thanks a lot!

I do send free ecards alot. 123greetings.com, all4love.net, and bluemountain.com sometimes I find a card and it is not free so I just look for another one.

I usally look for free ecards myself. For my online friends on their birthdays or something else that is going on in there life. If I am going to buy a card I want to mail it not a ecard that you send online it just doesn't seem the same to me.

Yes, simplyshawn I do send free e-cards. The site I usually go to is www.123greetings.com as they have a card for pretty much ANY occasion. I love that site and highly recomend it. Take care!

You know, I used to send a lot of e-cards to my friends and family through Riversong, and a few other sites. Now that there is problems getting the phishing emails mimicking the real sites, I never open them lest I get the worm that's in them. It used to be when I'd get or send a card, there was no problem.
I think the best way to get around it is to have whoever you send ecards to regularly, have them go to the ecard website and put the real website into their addresses in their email program so that it's white-listed. Then when you send an ecard, let them know that one is coming and from what site. At least then they'll know it's from the legitimate site and not one of those phishing deals. I now get at least 4 or 5 a day claiming to be 'from a friend' or 'from a neighbor', etc, and I know they're not legit. With my hotmail program, and having it white-listed, when one of them comes in if their address doesn't match the real site it's labelled as a danger.
