What did you aspire to become when you were a child?

In childhood begins those dreams --the dreams of building your life ,career goals which guide you in days to come like a strategy map to reach your goals and objectives. I always wished to become a writer or doctor. The second option is more favoured by my parents than me while my passion was always music and writing. When I saw the movie 'Little Women'I immediately began to identify myself with the character Josephine March in the story who also used to dream of making big with her writing someday and finally succeeded.Today I am an IT proffessional with a happy life. But sometimes I feel what if I had become a doctor?Regarding writing ,I am in touch with it and am satisfied with my efforts in that. Are you all happy in what you are?Or you dreamt of something else in your yesteryear?

When i was a young boy, i dream to be a pilot when i grew up. During my late teens, i wanted to be a journalist, as i like to read and write. My life did not turn out both ways, i wasn't even close in fulfilling both my ambitions. I applied for pilot cadet selection in the air force, but must have failed the selection test as I didn't hear anything from the military after that. I didn't pursue an education or a career in journalism but my passion in reading and writing still remain.

Nobody is happy. Happy you are if you accept what you are today. I did not have much ambition in my childhood but aimed to be established in life in a different way. So, I may say that what's I have got so far and achieved so far, may not be that much, still I'm happy, if not content.
