Clue Me IN Please..

I am new to watching The Hills, so I need to be clued in a bit. What is the deal with Lauren and Hedi? I know supposedly, Hedi and Spencer spread rumors about Lauren and an old boyfriend making an adult video, but is there any truth to it? Did the two of them actually spread these rumors? Also is Audrina to be trusted? She seems a little shifty to me, but then again i've only watched the first two shows of the season.

well, i just started watching last season so i'll tell you what i can. I think audrina can be trusted, atleast so far. she tried to tell heidi about spencer hitting on her. lauren doesn't have proof that heidi and spencer started the rumors, she just thinks it was them because she doesn't know who else would do it. I don't know if the tapes exist or not. If they do no one has shown them yet.
