Today is Chinese Valentine's Day!!

Yeah, it’s really a beautiful and attractive but rather melancholic chinese legendarily story. It’s about the seventh faiy maiden and the cowherd. I feel rather sad that the family could not live happily together. They could only meet in the waymagpie bridge once a year during the “romantic” chinese valentine’s day. Normally during chinese valentine many women here usually pluck seven different kinds of flowers and throw them onto a pail of the seventh day water. They believe after washing their face or bathing by using water with flowers soaked in it, their complexion would be more tender and fine. It's a age-old tale in China. Long long ago, there was a good-hearted cowherd. He was too poor to marry any girl, but he was always happy to help others. So one day, one of the people he helped before wanted to help him, too. He told him that the seven fairies would take a bath in the lake near the cowherd's house, and told him to take away one of the clothing. Since the fairy couldn't go back to heaven without the clothing. Then the cowherd went to the lake and take the youngest fairy's clothing. And the fairy had to stay in the world. Then they fell in love with each other and get married. Later, they had two kids, one son and one daughter. The cowherd worked on the field and raise the cattle, meanwhile, the fairy weaved at home (Then we called the fairy weaving girl). They were so happy. But in Chinese tale, the fairy actually is princess in the heavenly kingdom. And people in heaven don't allow to marry the people in the world. So the heavenly queen wanted to make them apart. The army from heaven brought the fairy back. And the cowherd ascended along a rope from heaven with two kids. He wanted to go after his wife. Before the cowherd catched his wife, the queen make the Milky Way (a big river in heaven according to Chinese tale) between them. And they had to watch each other on both sides of the river. They can't ferry it. And their story was so affecting that sparrows decided to help them. They built a bridge over the Milky Way with their feather on July 7 (Chinese Calendar)each year. So the couple and their kids could reunion together once a year. Then the cowboy and fairy became two stars in the sky, one is Altair (Niuliang Star), one is Vega (Zhinv Star).

I know it's today.But I celebrated it with my GF yestday.I am the happiest in the world ,because she kissed me in my face.
