I had heard that when you reach 500 posts you get blue star, was it wrong? I am now on 514, but the colour is red as it was before.Does it depend on the quality of posts or ratings or the number of posts. Will i continue to have that red or it will change ever?

It depends solely on the other members' ratings of your posts. If you have strong opinions or don't back down from the forum trolls when they try to use you for their shallow entertainment, they will waste hours going through your discussions minusing all your posts. I've plussed you. Hope it helps. You see my posts are over 2700, but I'll never see a blue 10 star because I stand by what I say here and refuse to back down from trouble makers. Good luck.

I think it is against the rules (or used to be) for down-rating people simply for disagreeing. The rating system sux in my opinion. I've been attacked for my opinions as well, your friend is not alone at all.

Yeah I recently had experienced it too. But we all just be ourselves here and I guess we will all have a lot fun. I just don't get why some people will rate you negative for voicing out your opinion.

The number or posts you have has nothing to do with the number or color of your star. I recommend going to MyLot's FAQ's on the site. They explain it better than I can.

It would do you good to read the "faqs", "terms" and the "guidelines". The links are at the bottom of this page in blue. You will find most of what you need to know about mylot and how it works there as well as how the stars work. I still check guidelines and FAQs from time to time cause they add new things so often.

The color of the star depends on the quality of posts and responses that you made and which myLot members rated. If myLot members always rate your posts and responses with (+), then you will get a blue star. The color does not depend on the number of posts you made. Some myLot members got a blue star rating of 10 immediately after they reach 100 posts. I got a blue star when I reached 100 post and it never changes from then on, even though I just only have few posts and responses. Just continue doing quality posts and responses and you can have a blue star soon. Good luck!

The color of the star has to do with the ratings not the number of the post as far as I know.

Dear eshaan Colour of the star denotes our reputation on mylot .. it also shows that how much members of mylot likes us .. if people like us then we will get an increase in rating -- like you see I am currently at 92/100 and I checked yours .. it's showing 91/100. If some member rate us negative then it makes our star count and our rating down. There are many jealous members who used to give us negative .. I was holding a 10 star earlier and within 2 days time I was on 9 and then again after 2 days time I was on 8 .. With great effort .. I am on 9 now and I hope to achieve 10 soon .. but whether I reach there or not .. I know one thing for sure and that is .. we are always 100/100 for our friends :)

It depends on the ratings others gives to your posts. There is nothing to do with the number of posts. If your ratings increase to 99/100 thene you will have arating of 10 with blue color.
