PC or Mac?

we're a pc household the roomie works with a mac - well, duh, she works for Apple Computer! she thinks the apple is better protected from virus but the cost is what is prohibitive for us

I have both Mac and PC at home, and I do like using both of them. Although I do prefer Mac a little more than PC because it's easier to use, much faster, and much more reliable. I don't really care for games that much, that's what gaming consoles are for.

I totally agree with you. What I don't understand is people who have a "beef" with either Mac or PC. They're just computers, after all, and furthermore, computers that are made by multinational corporations. I think the software companies, more than ever, are the ones to blame for any computer troubles. Like how when you buy a PC from a store, it's chock-full of useless programs, or worse yet, RAM-stealling anti-virus software. Have you ever seen the videos on Youtube of people installing the Mac OSX on a PC? I think that's pretty funny.

yeah, pc is better for gaming.... but i'm a macuser with all my heart LoL. I grow up with windows (or better *dos*) but I did not regret it a second that I know choose mac over pc.. I still do play games but not that much as I did some years ago...
