did any one see in the news about the new movie(Color of the Cross) Jesus is being protryed as a black man.. what do you guys think?

I think it is much more likely that Jesus had darker skin than white, given the region of the world where it all happened. I think it is European interpretation of this that leads to the image of Jesus as a white man. For years I have seen black Jesus in predominately black areas, and brown Mary's in Hispanic areas, etc. Since the white images have been so dominant, I can understand why this movie creates questions and issues.
In truth, though, it just doesn't matter. I think that Jesus was in our own image, even though all of the images are so diverse all over the world. I think it's a mistake to be rigid about it all. Everyone should believe what they want to believe and find their comfort where they can.

why does it matter what color jesus is??????? jesus is the son of God, he is everyone's color, black, white, yellow, brown and red. i don't care if he was green with purple polka dots and had a afro, jesus is jesus!
