Are you afraid of death? Do you believe in afterlife?

Personally i am not scared of the actual act of 'death' and 'dying' its the thought in the current life that it just all ends there and then, with nothing afterwards. I kmow some people proberly think 'it wont matter, because you won't know because your dead.' I know that but i still would like there to be something afterwards, like something to hold on to and reassurance, knowing that when i love one dies you actually do have the chance to reunite in later life. What are your thoughts on this?

Will never scared and I believe in afterlife. Life and live in the world. Actually 'die' is only a terminology of time transition between this world and the next world. Just like you move from one place to another. State changing.
Anything when we are in darkness will cause us to feel that kind of 'afraid'.

Thanks Michael for your submission, but im interested as too what makes you believe in this other world? Is it your believe in a religion and a God? Or have you had other experiences?

I am an atheist and I believe when I die that is it end of road. It would be nice to believe and hold a false hope that there is something after but in my heart I know there isn't. I think a lot of people are Christians because they can't stand the thought of just dying and nothing afterwards to look forward to so they have some fantasy in their head to make it easier to deal with.

I'm not afraid of dying. I'm more concerned about the people I will leave behind, those that I love and those who love me. They might cry and I wouldn't like that.
I believe in living your life as best as you can, trying to give a positive contribution to the world, so that when you die you will go to the "good" place, not to the "bad" place.

How can someone not believe that there is not a life after this one here.Let's think this through for a moment.If there is no afterlife then life has no purpose,no meaning,we are just exiting for existing sake.If however there is an afterlife then your life have meaning,purpose.
To acknowledge an after life means acknowledging a Higher Power and being accountable to Him for one actions so man prefer to just not think about an afterlife or a Higher Power for that matter.
For it is that Higher Power that determines your fate in the next life.Based on your state in this life.
There is a better life than this one here and it is accessable through Christ and Christ alone.
