You need to try this , as I posted lastnight my BF wanted to try this
Bacon wrapped Bananas with maple syrup glaze
At first I was scared to try it but after I posted I thought well why not
So I did I had never heard of it before but this is what I did ....
BACON WRAPPED BANANAS
Two bananas cut to the width of a slice of bacon
I got ten pieces so I used ten pieces of bacon and wrapped the bananas
Baked them in a toaster oven at 225-250 degrees for about half an hour
Then I took them out and reheated the oven to 300 degrees , baked again for 5 minutes
Then took them out again and put Maple syrup (not alot just a dab) too much will burn
But I baked them again for five minutes at 400 degrees
MG WAS IT AWESOME
I don`t like Bam=nanas but I would eat them every day this way .....
You all have got to try it , I looked on all my cooking sites I visit and was only able to find one recipe like it ...
Just thought I`d share my recipe with you all here ...
Bake Cook and Enjoy !!!!!!!

I probably sound like a ditz, but how would I do this, step by step if I use a cooking oven?
LOL!
I'm going to probably make this real soon. I just need to know how. I use a stove/oven to cook.
I told my mom about this and she was like "WHAT!"
So I want to make them and have her try them. My husband also wants to try them.

I just heated my toaster oven to 225-250 degrees , while its heating I cut my bananas to the same width as a slice of bacon .
Spray your pan withcooking spray , or what ever oil you use ...
Then you wrap the bacon around each piece of banana , and bake for about 15 minutes...
Then I baked at 300 for 5 mins ...
Thats when I took them out and set the oven at 400 ...
while it heats up I just put a drop of Maple syrup on each bacon wrapped banana and baked at 400 degrees for the last 5 minutes , or til the bacon is as crisp as you like ...
P.S. Don`t use too much syrup as it will burn ...
I used a toaster oven but I`m sure it would work in a real oven , and probably cook in 15-20 minutes instead of the 30-40 I did ...
I did it so I would know it would turn out bein the first time ...
Good Luck and ENJOY !!!!

These sound interesting. I wonder who thought of them, I mean, who said to themselves - hmmm...I wonder what it would taste like if I wrapped a piece of bacon around a piece of banana and baked it?
We don't have any bacon nor bananas in the house or I would try it just for the sake of an experiment.

This is actually one of my favourite meals!
Sure, it's not something that I'd eat too often..
A nice addition to this is satay sauce, or just some crunchy peanut butter, cheese and turn it into a wrap with tortillas/burrito bread.
Very yummy indeed =D

I hope you do try it you won`t be disappoiinted , oh don`t forget to grease your pan , I used pam spray ....
If you cook it in a kitchen oven it may take less time ...
I cooked it slow only so the bacon cooks all the way through ....
I also didn`t mention toothpicks to hold the bacon closed , I didn`t use it and didn`t have a problem , but I can see why a person would .....
BAKE EAT AND ENJOY ....
you have a great day yourself .....
