Drinking Age Limit

In my state there are plans to place on the ballot the question of whether to lower the legal drinking age. I have mixed feelings about this, although I have long held the opinion that if young people can enter our armed forces at age 18, it doesn't make sense that they can't drink. I would suggest that if anything is changed it should be the age that they can get a driver's license. I really do believe that most kids are not responsible enough to be in control of a moving vehicle at such a young age.

I believe it does not really matter what the drinking age is, because the law is continually being breaked and will be forever. The age of kids drinking is getting lower and lower, totally disregarding the law so the limit does not really make a difference.

i think that it should be lowered to 18 again at 18 u can get married u have to get a job u can go to the military and die for ur country so y cant u drink? yes some people are more responsible than othersbut i know 30 year olds who have no business drinking everyone is different im not saying 18 yr olds should get plowed every night but if they want to go out once in a while with their friends and have a drink what is the problem with that?

When I first started drinking the legal age in Texas was 18 years old and you could drive and drink, times have changed but I don't think making the kids wait until they are 21 years old to drink is a valid law, I was fine and so were my friends and people older than me that started drinking at 18 years old.
