I read this little tidbit in the news yesterday. Seems that famous horror novelist, Stephen King was doing some book signing while in Australia. Evidently, one of the employees mistook him for a vandal. I think that SK's face is one of the most easily identifiable in the world by now. I don't understand how such a thing could have happened.

I can see how this could happen - if someone was not a Stephen King fan, they might not recognize him, and if they didn't know he was in the area, they wouldn't be expecting him. This seems funny to me, but that employee must be very embarrassed now.

In my opinion, cute, that employee should lose their job. They should have known that he would be there signing books. His photo is on the back of all of his books.

Oh my! Good thing he didn't get hurt or anything. Do you read his books? I have read "Pet Cemetary." I tried to read "It" but it was a bit vulgar.
