You could try Kaspersky, Symantec Corporate Edition, and Bitdefender. In terms of free AV products, AVAST, AVG, and Avira. Currently, I am using Avira AntiVir Classic Edition. It is very light on resources. It does not eat a lot of memory. Since using this one, I have no problems at all and I am satisfied with it. You can update this regularly at your most convenient time. Its primary function and advantages is to provide protection against viruses, worms, and trojans, protection against dialers and phishing, and detects and delete rootkits. Avira has gained several awards. The product combines first-class detection rates and ease of use with a top performance that protects your computer safely. You can download this at www.free-av.com
That's it.
Hope this would help.

I recommend norton its the best anti virus I found, before my husband installed mcafee anti virus but we found it not good in threating problems like virus its hard to define wether its virus or just a threat and sometimes cant fix the problem well unlike norton anti virus with everyday update from the internet its users friendly too and very accurate in fixing problems can identify if the virus is threat or risky.. so try norton anti virus its the best anti virus..

The Best is Bitdefender. But I use NOD32 because that's what I found first. I hate norton and I think it sucks. It's just the most well known really so people use it. Kapeskery or what ever is really good too.

I really don't know the best anti-virus software for all computers since not everyone use the same one. What I think is best though not just my computer but for many too,.. is the AVG Free Edition which you download at ( www.download.com ) AVG Free updates daily so it is likely that they can easily detect some viruses, spywares, adwares or other problems in your computer. Not only it is effective, you can now use a very good anti-virus software and costs you nothing at all since it is free. .but you can always upgrade to Pro version which costs you some money.. :) SO, AVG free for me is the best.

I recomend you to use kaspersky anti-virus. It is now the #1 in chart by the pc-world lab team.
I personally use Mcafee Antivirus enterprise edition 8.0i beacuse I dont have finance to buy a genuine version of Kaspersky anti-virus. I got my one as a gift from a friend.
Do never use AVG free if are a techno and use net too much. It wont actually give you any protection.
You can AVG internet security. It is nice but it will you some 70$.
Norton is good beacuse it can detect almost all the virus but can't clean some certain viruses.
Do never use the latest version of Norton or Mcafee beacuse if you use a old pc. It will make ur pc more slow and drive you to the slow hell!
Make a regular update through internet is more important than which anti-virus u will use. Any updated anti-virus will give u protection more or less.

NOD32 for me is currently the best antivirus software available.
I've read an article that says that NOD32 has been tested 47 times by Virus Bulletin and has failed 3 times, the highest pass rate of the of the tested anti-virus products.
NOD32 uses very little ram and scans quite fast.
I've already tried Norton, AntiVir, AVG and a lot more anti-virus products, but NOD32 has certainly surpassed my expectations.
I highly recommend this anti-virus to all pc users.
