If you have read some of my discussions you probably know that I love classical music. I don't know why, like many people I find it relaxing and I believe the artists were so much more talented and capable of creating masterpeices than there are today, at least from what I have heard.
I would have to say that chopin would be my most favorite composer. He has so many works: nocturnes, etudes, preludes, waltzes, mazurkas... It is amazing how he could display so many emotions using his fingers. I also really like liszt, mozart, debussy, Haydn, and so many more.

Er... Liszt was from the Romantic period, not Classical. I even checked the wikipedia to make sure I wasn't mistaken about that. And I think Debussy isn't from the Classical period too.
Anyways, I think my favourite would be Mozart.

I know they are considered romantic because of the type of music, they showed more emotions and drama, but Because Liszt and Debussy are really old, I consider them classics! YOu are right though Debussy is not technically with the classical period. But don't check wikipedia, anyone can write anything.

There have been several modern composers who's music can really bring out a lot of emotions. Some of my more modern favorites are Tchaikovsy, Stravinsky, Bernstien and Yanni. Their music is different but excellent.
Some of my older favorites are Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Paganini, Mozart, Brahms and Beethoven.

Haven't heard to much of Mendelsshon besides the wedding march, Vivaldi besides his "seasons", Paganini, But I agree Mozart, Brahms, and Beethoven are great to listen to. Thanks for sharing craftcatcher.

Yes he wrote soo many works and a lot of them are famous! Especially because of the inventions (a type of song) that are used on the ringtones. I like Air, the minuets, the inventions.... I'm sure there are others. Thanks for the reply malyck!
