I've found a happy medium between both...but I still find that I like more of the old Bon Jovi music better. I think the older Bon Jovi music is great rocking music.

Without a doubt the old songs!! The newer songs are good but I noticed that a lot of his old CDs from the 80's he had mulitple hits off of each cd (cassette at that time). Nowadays it seems like 1 song from each newer CD is played on the radio.

I still like the Old Bonjovi music from the 80's. I don't care for them to much at all now. They were great in the 80's.

Hands down, old bon jovi music has my vote! Some how their old music has got OMPH! The new ones arent that bad, its more toned down compared to the old ones..

The older music, definitely. I don't like that the new stuff is played on the country music stations. I respect that they are growing and changing as a band, but "Slippery When Wet" will always be the best Bon Jovi album ever.

Hmm! That is a tough one! I am a 'young' bon jovi fan in that I was only just born when his early stuff was released. I became a fan around the time of the albums 'crossroads' and 'these days'. On the strength of crossroads alone I bought all the old cds (digitally remastered) and love them. However they were made in a different time for a different time that i can't really relate to although the music is awesome and is what drew me to the band in the first place. i've bought every album since and have found that the music doesn't seem to be as iconic anymore but the lyrics mean more to me and somehow seem to have more depth. i guess in a way the band just 'grew up' whatever that may mean!
