This is my favorite game! I play it all the time. I don't play online because it's on my other computer and not hooked up to the internet yet but I really enjoy the game. It is very relaxing to me unless I run into a very difficult game. Then I can stay up all night playing.
I have just as much fun creating my own scenarios and playing them.
I also have Age of Mythology which I enjoy, but I prefer AOE 2.

same her. i can keep playing aoe2 . its amazing. like i have my own seperate world and i am the king. lol. i guess there are very few people playing that on line. i would love to, i tried but couldnt. i some times play the hardest with 7 opponents and my fav is the korean cicilizition for its horse drawn buggy lol. they are strong.

I love to set up with 3 other players, but I choose Random for everybody... that way you never know what you're going to get! Those have been some of my best games. I had one game that lasted 9 hours. I didn't think there was any way I could win but I kept trying. I ran completely out of gold and even ran out of wood but I finally won. Whew those games are tough but exciting! LOL
I think I'll go play a game right now. :D

no i don't play that game. i'm not really fond of computer games or online games. maybe because i'm too busy to play. "all work and no play will make you a manager." hahaha! =)

I Love AOE2. I had been playing Age of Mythology alot again lately and decided to reload AOE2 and the Conqueror's Expansion. I'm glad I did. I forgot how great it is to convert units ('cuz you can't in AOM) and I have always liked the built-in Editor for AOE2! I know AOE3 is probably out now, but I don't know if I'm ready to move on!

I haven't played it before but I definitely heard of it somewhere from my gaming buddies. I might have to play it after your good recommendation. But currently I am really getting addicted in Sims 2 and therefore I would get absorbed in it for awhile before moving onto other games.

they are 2 different games. you will like aoe 2. its amazinggggggg and very simple, you will feel really very cool with if its your sort of game that is. all the fun, prayers too, apple.

Though this game is very old but this game is the best statergy game while playing int the LAN and it's requirements is also low and so it runs on generally everyone's computer......... AGE OF EMPIRES IS THE BEST...
