Boring

when you are bored ,what would you do? Do you have a boring frequency?

Hi erwin, Welcome to myLot! When I am bored, I read. I love reading since I was a child. I really don't get bored often, but reading is good for boredom as far as I am concerned. When my granddaughter says she is bored, I tell her, "Go read a book" And she loves to read too!

I have thought about reading,but sometimes I was so bored that I couldn't even calm down to read. You say that reading is a good idea, so I will try that when I am bored. Thank you!

If I am bored I just open the pc and play online games or watch movie... but most of the times I play with my youngest daughter. Shes is very funny because she likes immitating action. Because she was young(age 2) she is innocently funny and I like it very much. She always make me laugh and I cant help it. Then that would be the end of my boring time.

When I get bored I hang out here on mylot! Not really, I don't get bored too often. When I do I look for something to read or do some writing.

I haven't felt bored for many years. If there is nothing to do at all. I just sit and listen to my thoughts - focusing totally on my experience and feelings. Boredom, when focused on disappears. This is a the practice of Zen. If you wish to know more, see like for my Zen blog in my profile :-)
