Here in the philippines most pilipinos preferred for fried rice, eggs, hotdog, ham, sometimes cereal, milk or coffee and the most common breakfast that you can find here is the hot pandesal. Pandesal is made of yeast, you can eat this by soaking in your cup of coffee for a while and then chew it while the taste of the coffee is still in, you can also spread cheese or any flavor of sandwich spread in this bread. Here take a look at my picture of PANDESAL that you can find here in our country. What is you favorite breakfast? And what is the common breakfast that you have in your country? Do share your thought...thanks in advance..

Hello archer! Likewise, in my breakfast, I usually eat breads at least three to four pieces with cream cheese fillings. Sometimes, I used to eat rice with fried eggs or cereal corn flakes in the morning. Of course, my breakfast will be incomplete without drinking a cup of hot chocolate or tea. That’s it. Have a nice day and God speed!

oh yeah, another favorite but not one I get to indulge in very often is mmmm baking powder biscuits with sausage gravy, oh my but that is good and warming especially on a winter morning...this gravy is also fantastic served over scrambled eggs. fried eggs are also great served over hashbrown potatoes or corned beef hash. mmmm.

the varieties are as vast as the people are here, personally I like a bagel with cream cheese and some sort of meat or lox on it, and maybe some hot sauce or hot peppers. I also like poached eggs or fried eggs on toast.

I'm from England. I'm not sure, because I don't eat much breakfast, sometimes a bowl of cereal, or a piece of toast. But, it may be that the most common breafast in England is the famous Full English Breakfast, which is something like...fried egg, bacon, baked beans, sausages...but I'm not 100% sure. Too much for me anyway; I'm never too hungry in the morning...thirsty for tea or cofee though!

I am Filipino too and I agree with you. Here in our country we are very particular in fried rice and breads. I like it too. I also like sampurado and lugaw for breakfast. But I get hungry easily with that. I do not like eating pandesal. This is a very good discussion and its good that we will learn the traditional breakfast in other countries. Happy posting to all.

Dear archer1811, We in India, 60% people are vegetarian so they eat only vegetarian food. Balance 40% eat non-vegetarian food. In India, in South India people whether veg or non-veg they generally take break fast of 'IDDLY, DOSA, vada SAMBAR AND CHETNI. These are purely vegetarian food. In North India, people for break fast eat ROTI, VETEGETABLE CURRY. Of course now a day people eat for the morning breakfast EGG and bread.

I am from China. China is a large country therefore people in different areas eat differently. In my hometown we usually have rice noodles, wheat noodles, porridge, soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, fried cakes, baked cakes, bread, and some other street food etc. My favorite is porridge with some dish to go with. Have a good breakfast, archer.

Here in the UK the traditional breakfast is a full cooked one of eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding (don't ask!), beans, fried bread and of course a nice cup of tea. This is a bit too heavy for me and I seem to go for the more lighter style of cereal with either milk or yoghurt and an espresso. In Greece where I travel a lot during the year the breakfast is a much more simpler affair of coffe and a pastry, easier to eat whilst riding your moped to work I guess!!!

The most common breakfast in my country will be either Idly, Dosa, Chappati, Poori, Pongal etc, out of which some of them are very common at the southern part of the country and some of them are very common at the other parts of the country.

We have lots of common breakfast foods here. There are pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal. I also like fried bologna or salami, with my eggs and toast. We also have oatmeal, and cream of wheat. Another thing, that I like for breakfast, is fried mush, or grits. Yummy
