My friend is a gay!!!

After I entered the university, I got to know many new friends .He is one of them.
Because we share many common interests, so we become more closer. But after a period
of time, I found he is a gay! Sometimes he acted just like a girl,which make people sick. But most time,he is very careful.
So should I continue the friendship or abandon it?
I was in predicament, I want to hear your advice .Thanks beforehand!

Friendship doesn't have a gender. It doesn't matter whether the friend is a boy, a girl, a lesbian or a gay. What matters is how you respect, accept and understand each others quirks.
