I'm having "fun" with a bad teether. We've used orajel, teething tablets, motrin, tylenol, cold washclothes...you name it, we've used it...what have you found works the best for you? Motrin seems to work the best for us this time around.

I have tried teething rings, water filled and chilled rubber teething toys Sometimes, I offered my baby a cold bottle of water. The water helped to replenish my baby’s fluid as they’re drooling a lot.
Cold food has also been found to be helpful. Chilled applesauce, yogurt and pureed peaches may be more appealing to your baby and also more nutritious than a chilled teething ring.

My son is also a "fun" teether. What works best for him are popsicle sticks. I cut the back of my throat and was eating sugar free popsicles (basically colored water on a stick) and was letting him have a lick here and there, hoping the cold would help ease his pain too. But when I was done with the popsicle, he picked up the stick and just started gumming it where his budding teeth were causing him pain. Of course, with this, you need to watch out if he has any teeth already to make sure that he doesn't splinter the stick by biting down to hard. But the wet stick seems to be just the right consistency, with a little bit of flavor, that soothes and entertains him for up to an hour.
