I've been dancing ballet for over 13 years now and aI enjoy it even through the scholding I reacieve every day I dance. I dance in Russia and I'm a pure filipina. My tchrs.are strict with evrything and well I know why. But to those of you who don't dance it, when you look at the dancer do you find ballet hard?

Really? Well, Yoga and ballet is a lot different. Ballet has terms which we have to memorize and my teacher just tells me what to do and we follow and we can't relax because we have to dance to and have no time to sit down. And yoga is for relaxing and it dosen't have that many terms.

Sorry, what I should have said was use yoga as a means
of preparation.Yoga is'nt only about relaxation but is a complete system which has postures called asanas
when practised correctly these postures afford the body wonderful pliancy. The whole body becomes as supple as an infant's body,it is light and strong, healthy and well prepared for any and every sort of action you will want to put it through, thats what yoga is,actually this aspect of yoga is known as
"Hatha Yoga" Oh and the other thing about yoga is that it trains you in meditation, concentration, and ofcourse you become more relaxed. One needs relaxation even in motion.

I do find ballet really hard but thats why I appreciate it more. The discipline put into it is unbelievable. They say that if you want to be a ballerina, you should eat ballet, sleep ballet, breath ballet. kudos to you!I'm a filipina too.
