when did you start using the internet

Wow! You went from being a net newbie to webdesign to software engineering! That's...wow!! Congrats to you!! I started using the net around 1995. That seems like a long time! I have an interest in webdesign....or maybe it's webauthoring....I mix up the terminology a lot! I know basic html, love to blog, and chatting is cool, but I usually only chat with folks for a specific purpose like for a special campaign I'm involved in...although sometimes I will get on IRC and just chat about regular stuff. The craziest I've ever done: I don't know...post a classified for The Pretender? Maybe one day I will do something really crazy...I''ll get back to you on this one! lol

i used it in 1998 , when i was in class 10. here in India net comes very late.. but i was fascinated by reading newspaper articles about upcoming boom of net.. i remember that i paid 15 rupees for 15 min of net usage . that also i dint know anything.. i kept a lot of addresses with me from the newspapers .. so that was quite helpful.. i was just happy .. but i was waiting when the price will be down.. and now i am using net in my home.. even i can now buy online . trade online and many more.. thanks to the inventor of this magic thing...

I started to use internet quite long time ago. I used it from 1997. Now many things are quite advanced than at that time. I remember 56K modem for dial-up connection was the best at that time. Now I already use ADSL. And the price for it already descreases.

I started using the internet 7 years ago My first e-mail was thatha_2000@zipmail.com.br But now it doesn't exist anymore haha There's an e-mail of mine which is 7 years old and it until exists xD

I started using the internet about 10 years ago. Beside browsing around using aol, one of the first things I did was to create a yahoo email account. I still use that account as my main email address. I also spent some time searching my name around on yahoo,those were the days...

I started using internet about 6 years ago. I didnt quite know which website to browse and all that. But always sent and received mails. Now i dont send mails. We have places like orkut and messengers to directly talk to friends.

Well, I'm start using internet since year 2000 & to be honest, earning online is not an easy task for me, but I did found a very good place like MyLot, which enable the members to chat & earn some $$$ here...:)

I have been using the internet for around 6 years or so now and I would be lost without it these days but I do remember when I first started using it and I got so frustrated as I had no idea how to use it! All I basically did was check my emails as that was all that I knew how to do... oh how different it is to today I now look up phone numbers, go shopping online, make money online and have great fun! I am so glad that we have the internet at hiome

i started using internet 8 years ago..a friend of mine introduces yahoo messenger to me and was using yahoo messenger till now for communicating with friends abroad and other cities..i got indulge with chatrooms and knowing other people and now got myself loving the paid sites..i had done so much in the internet and the internet had been my life ever since..i get online everyday and when i cant i get online once i get the chance.

I started using the internet 10 years ago, I have had a website of some kind for most of that time. I have had my current main website for about 6 or 8 years, I change it up as I need to and play on it alot. I currently have about 20 email addresses to go with all the stuff I do online, its easier to organize them especially since I can have unlimmited email addresses with my webdomain.

I began on the internet 12 years ago. I remember my mom using it and I was reluctant to try it. I didn't even know which websites to visit, so I went to the only website I had heard on TV, www.tide.com. LOL, yep, I went to the laundry detergent site. And it was quite interesting. After that I just got on more and more and became comfortable with it. I don't really know if I've done anything crazy online. I like to be safe and secure, but have fun at the same time.

I started using the internet after I bought my second PC back in 1996. Since then, I've been addicted, and have used it consistently for business, research, and pleasure.

I started using the internet exactly nine years ago. I started the first browsing in my College at a nearby Computer center. I was very much impressed by the content of the Internet, even though not as impressive as the content nowadays. I still do the browsing and will do forever.

I started using the Internet 11 years ago. I remember that I was so excited about it. My brother had already internet at his house and I just wanted it myself. When I accessed the Internet for the first time I didn't know what to do. My brother made a suggestion. He told me to make a search about a tv show that I liked. At that time I was watching The X-Files, but I wasn't a fan. I don't remember if there was a search engine at that time. I know that I searched for a mailing list about the series. After that I got addicted to the Internet and to The X-Files. The craziest thing I did wasn't that crazy at all. I found out about MIRC, a chat script, and I made lots of friends over there. I would stay for hours chatting with them.

I started using internet in 2000 and the 1st site i visited is www.prothom-alo.com, a daily newspaper of bangladesh. The time i visited that website was a turning point of my life I think. It has changed my life. The craziest thing I have done is that after some day i started using net, i happen to meet with a very good boy over it. We became very good friends in a short time. So, one morning I went to his house which is 11 hours bus journey from my house. The strange thing was If I had not found him in the bus stand at afternoon, I would have to pass the night in the street. Because I had not enough money to stay in a hotel.

I started using Internet nearly 5 years back.I also had a Yahoo Account first of all.I mostly use it for checking on Mails and communicating with other people.Not much beyond that .
