A lil bit about bookworms..!!

we all have read or heard somewhere about bookworms..we generally label a person bookworm if he/she studies books very much.. so much that he/she does not care about his/her health and prefers to read or study books only..well you all know that...i want to share a little bit of this BOOKWORM thing with you..even i was once called a bookworm..lol..but not now..ahhhmmm...
they are actually the larva (a stage in their development..like a baby)species of BEETLES..!!
The mature female insect lays her eggs on the edges of books, or in the crevices of bookshelves, and the larvae, when hatched burrow into the books, or shelves, riddling them with tiny tunnels..(u must have noticed them sometime)
Most of these so-called bookworms are small and dark- or reddish-brown..
now how they come inside books..??well,they enter libraries through windows, poorly fitting doors, etc., and seem to proliferate in libraries where dust, dirt, heat, darkness,and poor ventilation are prevalent...so now i think it clears one more doubt or observation for some..mostly people who can't leave libraries are called book worms..actually it originated from the libraries and we spread it everywhere..lol..i hope you enjoyed this ''truth behind the bookworms/or label it history of bookworms ''thing...ciao..:-)

so interesting ,but i have noy many about bookworms ,sorry,a period of time lining ,i like a bookworm ,bucause i read the book all day and noyhing to do ,forget the meals, my mom said you economize graim at home like this,haha.Sometimes i like do that when i read a book much interesting in the libraries.
what about the man all day befor the compeuter ,do you think that these men are "computerworms"?

lol..so thoughtful of you fikiabc..you coined an interesting term Computerworms..lol..its really cool..you are right i think the speed with which internet and computer are growing and replacing paper and books i think a day will come when people will be better known as computerworms instead of bookworms..

hahah ,yes ,i think the day will come ,now many and many people like to work and study and many things by using the computer ,so maybe we stand before the computer all day and foeget everythings ,like talking in the mylot all day ,i think it will become ture one day.i call it computerwrom.
