Am wondering do they just not got a good hook up for puters and laptops?
I know some where I had read messages been written from there I just wondering if it is so badly bombed out that comunication is all this bad.
I hope to hear from someone on this and hope to hear from son soon too. blessings all

Sad to say I lost my baby brother in Feb. in Iraq. But as to your question while he was there it took some time for letters and packages to reach him, and computer conections are sparse. They have long waits for the phones and computers. I pray for your son and I know you will hear from hm as soon as he can!

Actually am sorry to hear that you have a son in Iraq. I've got a Chinese friend now living in the USA whose Friend was also put to Iraq few weeks ago, it is probably they were together with your son. Last thing I heard from my friend is that he is telling us, our group, to keep on praying for his son's safety.

My brother is also in Iraq- He has been there since Feb 2007- and his tour ends May 2008- He is coming home for his 2 week vacation at the end of the month. He isn’t able to e-mail as often as he was in Kuwait. It’s about once every 2 weeks or so- Depending on casualties- When a unit has a casualty – the unit goes on blackout- No phone or internet or e-mail. This is just so the family is informed by the correct people not by someone sending an e-mail to their family and them telling them. Its security- So don’t be worried- I’d continue to send him e-mails so that he has some contact- he just isn’t able to contact you back- until the blackout is lifted.

My cousin is over there right now. They do get access but a lot depends on where they are and how many other people are around as to how often they can make contact. My cousin only gets to contact home about once ever 6 weeks sometimes.
I hope he gets in touch with you soon hon.

I am sorry to hear that you have a son assigned in Iraq. I've got a Filipino friend now living in the USA whose son was also sent to Iraq few weeks ago, probably they were together with your son. Last thing I heard from my friend is that he is asking us, our group, to keep on praying for his son's safety. I might as well include your son's name in our prayer group. Won't you share me your son's name so we could include him in our list for prayer support.
I thought for a while that Bush would have sent them back home.
