I had my first laser hair removal treatment today

Everything went fine. I had my entire bikini area done. Surprisingly, the whole process lasted only twenty minutes, including getting undressed/dressed again.
The pain was minimal, like being poked with pins without having the skin broken. Some areas were more intense than others. No bleeding, and the discoloration (pink like sunburn) vanished in less than two hours. Everything looks the same as before. No irritation. I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised.
I won't know the results of this first treatment until two weeks from now. That's when the dead follicles will finish falling out. But so far, I'm pleased with the experience.
For anyone considering the process, definitely don't be daunted by worries about pain.

Good post. As most all nice southern european women I have my (big lol ) share of unwanted hair in the wrong places. I've been considering that option for a while but didn't make a decision yet. Your post encouraged me to thing again :)

Thank you! They told me that complexion has a lot to do with how successful/how many treatments are required. I am very light-skinned with dark hair. So depending on what part of southern Europe you're from, you may need to investigate the process further to see if it is right for you.

That's very informative. It's nice to get the point of view from the person who actually gets procedures done rather than from the person who performs it.
I've considered getting laser hair removal myself.
