The most frequently-use ways are as follows: make a phone call, send emails if my friends are abroad. This is a cheaper way. For colleagues in the same unit, we use mobile phones and extention phones for communication.

Oh, yeah. I just forgot. I use Skype, Yahoo Messenger and QQ as well. Thanks for your mentioning, friend.

I am a man having a full-time job,and there are so many things that i have to do everyday, and i feel that i have no time to contact with my friends. Day after day ,i felt alone very much ,and felt the need of friendship. Now i decide to say hello with my friends once a month.I think that will better to me .

My most effective way is sending messages with my friends on the cellphone. because we are still college students, texting messages is very quick and convenient. and of course sometimes we chat on the phone, in this way we can hear our dear friends' familiar voice which sounds really cheerful and warm. i think friendship needs contact, whatever in what ways.

Although I lead a busy life, I make sure to meet up with my friends and family in person once a week and normally every day over the phone or internet.
I feel that it is very important to surround yourself with your loved ones.

i think texting is lazy and i prefer to speak to my friends then there is also no confusion as to the context of the conversation as is the opposite of a text as it can be taken out of proportion.

We are all busy living in the one of the most busy cities in the world. Still, we tried to catch up as much as possible. We all haven't got married yet and we will spare every Friday night to catch up with each other on the week's issues. I think it's really important to have a regular update on friends and see how they are doing. It's our "date"!

i have only one good friend and we are both very busy, and i saw her yesterday, and we went to a market to buy some vegetables and meat for dinner. Frankly, we haven't seen each other for almost half a year, although we live in very near, just 100 meters. I often chat with each other by QQ, because we both spend too much time online, sometimes we will chat by mobile, but it is more expensive than chatting online by QQ.

Most of my time is working or on the computer so my friends are either at work or over the Net (as sad as that may sound) I have some local friends but we rarely find the time to get together as I work odd hours and so do they. Even with my RL friends we usually communicate via the Net.
