I love the man! He is a musical God! but before i go further into worshipping this artist, i want to know what Damien Rice song sends you to tears? From the O album, i pick "The Blower's Daughter". It talks about a man's struggle with forgetting a past love to finally move on. From the 9 album, i highly recommend "Accidental Babies" because again, it's so painful that it's amazing. it talks about unrequited love and a man's fear of losing someone who loves (or lusts over).

I think I have only ever heard Blowers Daughter from the movie Closer... Oh wait! I did hear Cannonball before and I like that too, but I guess I cant choose since those are the only ones I know =/ But he does have a very nice voice

I freakin love this song. The song is so beautiful both the lyrics and instrument. I heard this song from CLOSER, which was an awesome movie! "If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking." Another is the gentle "CANNONBALL"! All I can is... Damien Rice is a real master. Really dexterous, man. =)

In my eyes it is "9 crimes". Started listening to that song in a melancholic situation and the song makes me somehow crying but I can't. It's a strange thing. But in a positive way.

There all really depressing to listen to. And I love all of his songs. He is a genius singer/songwriter. The Blower's Daughter is so incredibly poignant. I also like Cold Water, All Dressed Up, and Older Chests. Those really get to me. There is no one like him and there never will be.

Frankly, I haven't the chance to listen to every song he has. But somehow, "9 Crimes" was a song I find pretty hauntingly melancholic, both in lyrics & melody, his voice & Lisa Hannigan's blend beautifully in the duet. "Cannonball" was the first song I heard from Damien Rice and I loved it.
