In queen of the damned which did you like best, the book or The movie?

I loved the queen of the damned book, I use to read it over and over and when the movie was released I was so excited because I was sure it was fantastic but when I saw it, I hated it. There were so many wrong hapenings in the movie like the story is suppose to be about Akasha and in the movie it was about Lestat. They should have named it "The vampire Lestat" because everything is about him and not Akasha

the movie. beacuse you get to see it acted out. The whole movie was such a turn on

I have never read the book but I did really love the movie. I really like the music in it too.

I have read the book by Ann Rice, The Queen of the Damn and I have also seen the movie that came out. Yes I agree with you the movie wasn't as good a story as the book does. It doesn't have the full story and twist and turn in the book. :-)

To me the book is always always always the best. They have to cut so many corners when making the movies, it takes away from the story line. At least I think so.
I agree that the movie should have been named "The Vampire Lestat". They just got their stories mixed up when they made it I guess.
Would love to see another movie from the Anne Rice series. I love her work!!
