Not including the people or pets in your life, what is your most treasure possession? I am talking physical belongings, not love, respect or other such qualities. Why do you treasure it? Mine is an antique Chinese tea table. It is about three feet by four feet long and a foot high, with a multi-colored lacquer finish. I bought it in a used furniture store almost 30 years ago and would never part with it because it is so unique. The grandchildren love to sit on the floor and eat from it because it is the perfect height. I have used it for a coffee table much of the time I have owned it (when my living room was big enough to allow it).

I'd have to say mine is my fake tooth. I have a fake tooth and I think I'd look pretty silly without it....=)

What could a womans most treasured possession be..than her mother's jewellery gifted to her.My mom presented few of her jewellery to me on my marriage.Among them is a pair of heavy and thick beautifully designed silver anklets.Right from my childhood i adored them so much that i asked my ma to give it to me for ever..Its a wonderful piece of art which i would never part from..whenever i put it on ..i enjoy the soft sounds it makes while i walk..my most treasured possession indeed.

The closest thing I could guess for anything that is "treasured" to me would be my books but I can honestly say I'm not so attached that I'd cry if they burned in a fire, etc. I know people will say I'm full of crap but I honestly don't have anything "prized" or "treasured" that is materialistic. It can all be replaced and anything that's treasured for the memory it represents isn't lost because the memory will always be there. Perhaps it's surviving cancer that has taught me that there is nothing material that cannot be replaced but your loved ones and living creatures, those are one of a kind.

I agree, material things are not extremely important to me either, I think I could be happy living in a teepee if my family was there. But it would be nice to have my tea table there!

I have a journal type book my Grandmother put together for me. It was amazing to get to know here like this. It gave me such an insite into who I was and who I might become some day. It is very special to me.

I would have to say my photo albums, pictures I have collected through the years from my childhood days, teens and university life, pictures of friends who have been a part of my life, beyond those pictures are thousand of memories I can never remake so I really don't wanna lose them. I treasure them so much.

Yes, those would be hard or impossible to replace. I need to collect all my photo albums and pictures together and put them in a safe place.

I don't have a lot of worldly goods, jillbeth, but I guess it would be my doll collection. It's not that large, but I really love my dolls. It has even been discussed(in my presence), who will get them when I pass on. I don't mind that because I like having things sorted out. That way there's no arguing or fighting. I have already decided that they will go to my granddaughter who is named for me, mostly because she gave me one of my Native American dolls, and she is the first one that asked to have them.

First come, first served! Sounds fair, but I hope you are around a long time to enjoy them!

Everything my husband ever gave me over the years. Every stuffed animal, every piece of jewelry, every card including cards that came with flowers. And every photograph of my children. Furniture can be replaced, so too the many books I have collected over the years, and the CD's, but those things I listed can never be replaced. They are priceless to me and would be the first things I would pack if I had to vacate the premises due to some disaster.

How sweet! Sentimental value can mean so much more than cash value.

I guess I love my truck a lot!! Because it is my space, that no one else is allowed to enter unless they have the key!! It is my space that I know nobody has been except me. I am the only that cleans it, messes it up, and it's all mine to accept responsibility. I love my truck

I have my Grandmother's ashes. Her wish was to have them spread over her favorite childhood place. We haven't been able to get the whole family together for that event yet, so she stays on my mantle watching over me! Kinda nice!
