Flag Pole Race

This Friday evening I took my oldest grandon to the local track for a fun filled evening of crashes and burns. One race was one of my faves called the "FLAG POLE RACE". The cars are the basic figure 8 cars. The catch is the lap is a dog leg and at the start finish line all cars in order to finish the lap must circle around the flag pole (tire). Many close calls and lots of crashes occur at the flag pole. My grandson loves seeing the crashes. No injuries and no serious crashes but lots of crashes none the less this evening. We had FUN.

Kids love this sort of activity. Crashing cars & lots of action. Your sure take your grandson to lots of fun activities. He will remember you for all the good times you spend with him.

I do it for two main reasons. Because I love spending time with the grandkids and I love the races myself. Here's another shot as usual.

We used to go every Friday evening many years ago to the derby races. The last car running AND moving won. Sounds very similar to your flag pole race. I know we really enjoyed watches those vehicles run into each other. You could hear different individuals in the crowd actually yelling "watch out!"

Yeah I've been to many "Demolition Derby's" as well. All the county fairs have them. My kids love them as well.

Especially when he enjoys this type of

wELL HE HAS HIS SWEET TIMES. aS OF LATE HIS MOUTH HAS BEEN GETTING HIM INTO TROUBLE. hE IS SARCASTIC TOWARDS A LOT OF PEOPLE. hE LEARNED THIS WEEKEND AT MY HOUSE GRANDPA BOB DOESNT PUT UP WITH IT THOIUGH. haha

It sounds like you two have alot of fun together. It is good to know that nobody gets seriously injured. I bet seeing the crashes are fun though.

That does sound like a lot of fun! I would like the crashes the best also- adds excitement- as long as no one gets hurt- We for years went to watch demolition derbies at the fairs. My sig. other entered many- boy was that fun to get ready for them- It scared me to no end when he was in the ring- I loved to watch them- but did not enjoy when it was his heat- He won crazy driver one year- and got to go to the finals- and 1 year he won it all- I was impressed- but it still scared me!

I am so glad you and your grandson had such a great time with each other and at the races. I have never heard of that type of race. I will rate the photo when I see it. LOL
