Hi everyone! I have tree outside my kitchen window and Im going to put all kinds of bird feeders in it. So when I look out as Im doing my dishes I can look at birds. But of course I will have to get all different kinds of seed. Thats okay I can get it at reasonable price at walmart. Do you have birdfeeders outside?

Oh yes I sure do! And I LOVE them! Watching birds come and feed is one of my favorite past times. I have 3 hummingbird feeders and two seed feeders and I have a 12 hole condo and a wooden one with just one hole. I love watching all the work that they do in bringing in branches and such to make their nest and maybe lay some eggs. I get all kinds of birds, wild canaries to cardinals to blue jays to little finches. I love it! and you will too!

I do not have a bird feeder, but we do have an apple tree that all the birds in the neighborhood congregate on. My friend a block away, used to put up some bird seed containers to attract the birds her yard. I did not feel she needed to since the birds needed no attraction. However in winter, we do have a problem with the birds who are too lazy to fly south for the winter and I did see some good ones at Walmart which has a good selection of feeders, and especially for the wild birds which we do have a lot of here in Manitoba.

I would LOVE to have a bird feeder, but I feel that to have one would not be so good. They would provide a nice buffet for all the cats I have, and that's not something I'm interested in doing. So no feaders. I do have a family that nests in a vent on the side of my house every summer. I get to listen to the babies chirp chirp chirping away in my kitchen. THe vent is for the fan above the stove, so I never use it. I don't wanna risk blowing anyone out the side of the house!

I was living in an apartment bt my community was very green and full of trees, so naturally lots of birds used to come there everyday, I had two birdfeeder in my small patio and all of those birds used to come to my patio all the day time. I love to see and hear them all day long on the weekend, I had a big glass door on trhu to patio, so we used to ssit on our sofa after comming back from work in summer time and were seeing them all the evening, it was really fantastic. I bought a lot of birds foods or seeds from Wal mart and also from Target Super, that was very good for me. I think you will have a great time ahead. As we enjoyed it very much, when our friend bought home, n their house warming party we gave them bird feeder in gift.

Hi TerryZ! We don't have those pretty bird feeders but there are birds that took residence in our garden because we have 3 big trees. The birds have been sharing food with our dogs and I find it unusual and amusing because the dogs really let them have a portion. Take care and have a nice day!

I put a bird feeder out in my backyard once. The next day after I put it out I went to check if the birds had eaten any of the seed. The darn raccoons that live in the forest behind my house came during the night and stole my bird feeder!

Even though I live in an apartment I used to have bird feeders set out on the fire-escape, but my killjoy landlord told me to take them off...yeesh...Years and years ago I used to also have nice window boxes with plants in them too, same thing the jerk told me to take them down...Can't wait to make my fortune, move into my own home and do whatever the heck I want!! :(

I dont, but my nephew does. He has some beautiful birds come in the yard to feed, too. I think it is great how people put the feeders in there trees. You can get some awesome birds coming into your yard, and they get to know that they arent threatened, and can safely be there. Best wishes to you, terry
