How many of you have a blog that you have created an income from? I decided to look into doing that, so I spent my son's naptime creating a non-yuwie/myspace blog. I posted some of the articles I've written for other websites, including my yuwie site, and proceeded to register on a few "pay to blog". The general consensuses from many of the sites is that my blog just hasn't been up and running long enough or, that I don't receive enough traffic.
My response to that is well of course I don't receive much traffic, I just started out, and isn't that part of the reason, I'm trying to join your site, so that I can generate some traffic.
It didn't matter that my articles were well written, they just wanted more traffic! I found a very good mom blog, that gave information on the blog topic which is why I decided to try and break into the pay to blog '"business". I do it anyway, so why not try to ad a little more to my income?
Does anyone have any suggestions? How did you get started?

Hi greeneyes. I did not have the same problem but I would advise you to build your site and drive traffic to it. Then, you can apply to those programs that require a minimum of 90 days or so. Get your blog linked to other blogs, post comments to similar blogs, list it to search engines and blog directories, add your link to your email and forum signatures, and update frequently.
I have made some money from my blog and I have posted some links where I promote my blog. Take a look. It's not the greatest blog, but I do what I can. Feel free to leave a comment or message so I can add your link. Lastly, don't get discouraged. Here is the link: http://gabesmomsprivateworld.blogspot.com/
