Opening a forum site is good online business.

In just within a period of month or two you can notice number of forums (paid forums) and social networking sites are grown. If anyone observes it in details, opening a forum is good online business too.
Forums generally earn with the ads on it and if a forum gets a good number of visitor then it can earn a good money from advertisements only. Though you cannot predict how much you can earn but it is a very good source also for cross linking your own other sites and people can easily get attracted to your other sites too and it will again add to your earnings. So not a bad idea to open a paid forum for online earnings.Yes you have to have some knowledge of site making, maintenance etc.

Description above states the ways of earning money but these sites lacks the details , which are very necessary for the new users to start with. further tha matter comes of payments. the question is whether they really pay ? or simply duping. But still running the show.Are there some watch dogs who really helps.

First of all I wish you a warm Welcome to Mylot which obviously pays since I have received payment. You will enjoy mylot too from every aspect.
There are forums which pay. As mylot I am also member of some social networking sites which is almost like this one and they pays. I have recently joined some of them and till to reach payout and other members are paid there. And if you say of watch dogs, it is just impossible in the scam filled Internet. There is no way to know or say that the site will pay. It is only you to experience after joining the site and be with the site till you reach first payout.

I think this is a trend that is becoming more and more popular. The sad thing is that not all these people opening paid forums are honest people. When you promise to pay someone and then don't follow through it really makes people leery about joining a forum. Lucky for us MyLot has a good reputation for paying it's members on time.

The difficulty is that something like this kind of has a limit. So a few forums would make a lot of money, but I don't think that all of them would. I know of some forums that have a lot of readers that basically break even.
Still, it does seem like a fun business to have.

I think that would be a good idea. One would have to find a targeted niche topic, but I think creating a forum could be profitable. Like all other internet income, you would probably have to diversify and create many forums in order to see a good return.
