If we have nothing to hide,why do we use curtains

lol good question, no answer, lol.

Well we have curtains for several reasons and there not just to keep private. I know my mom likes a lot of curtains and she has them in almost every window she just thinks they look very nice thats all. The reason why we have them in our entertainment room is because we want it to block the sun so it wont get into the tv and thats a good reason to have them because its really annoying to have the sun glare on the tv.

Using curtains in a home provide us with necessary privacy we need. of course there are things you do in the privacy of your own home that you may not want others to see, from picking your nose to other nasty little things :)

I don't like to be watched without my knowledge so that's one reason I have curtains. Another is because I like how they make my windows look. Besides that, what if I'm naked? I don't want anybody but my husband to see me for that's private and for his eyes only. I don't have anything to hide other than my body and sometimes I wonder why am I hiding this old thing? lol

well,crazy thinking. everyone has his privacy,including you and me.can you just stay in the glass house?

Confidenciallity is very important. A little mystery never hurt.

I like curtains for two reasons: 1) They provide privacy for when I change clothes. 2) They block out the sun so that I don't get woken up really early when the sun rises. Also, they keep that nasty glare off my tv.

Well some things are just private and no one else's business. As far as curtains there is such a thing as modesty. Unfortunately there are people who will take advantage of you if you are too open, such as identity theft for one example. Some things just have to be hidden out of necessity.
