What do you do if your 5 month baby does not pass out stool for 6 days?

increased water intake, see a doctor for possible small bowel obstruction

hi somebodybig,
Huh? It's quite alarming if the baby doesn't stool for 6 days. In my baby's case when she was 6 mons. old, I rushed him to the doctor for a check up and I was advised to change my baby's formula milk. According to my doctor, 2 days is normal but it depends upon the baby's feeding intake.

Actually it is normal for a baby not to stool for days.I later realized that it is a normal thing

I'd call the doctor to find out if there's anything that might be wrong.

Actually ,there is no need to call a doctor.It is not abnormal for babies to go without stool for days.You can go ahead and give the baby orange juice.It helps.

Calling the doctor is a very good thing to do .I strongly agree with u .You dont have to joke with little children's health
