Lurker

I rarely post on LJ, but I do read a lot of what my friends write. I mainly blog on myspace.

I pretty much do exactly this. I'll leave comments on rare occasions, and I'll post when I feel like it, but that's been less and less since we moved. I feel a little bad, because I know some of my friends are trying to keep up with me through my LJ, but I'm so much busier that posting a lot doesn't really work well with my schedule!

Yeah, I used to be a lurker like that. But lately I haven't even been on at ALL. Haha this discussion is probably going to urge me to actually log on. But my reason for being a lurker was because all of my friends on lj stopped blogging. So I eventually stopped myself and then just lurked around in communities for a long time before just forgetting all about lj.

Lately I don't update as much as I should. I seem to use LJ mainly for the communities. I should post more often since I have a paid account.

I lurk mostly in communities. I never really post but I do comment a lot. ^^ I do post in my own journal though. Its my way to communicate with my local friends and let them know I'm still alive. If I don't have much to say I usually just post songs or youtube videos.

I have never posted on livejournal. I have great dreams to post my fanfiction up there at some stage, but I never really ever get around to it. I do post comments whenever I feel like it though, but mostly I lurk.

Oh man, same here! I used to be SO faithful to LJ but now I never hardly blog there. I have a blogger blog that I use more, not even sure why. But it happened and now i'm not sure i'll ever really get back to it, even though I have the time to.

Hahahah yes. I still post there regularly, probably about several times a month even if it's just a one-liner or something totally random. Just when I feel the urge to share it with people or want some feedback regarding buying a gadget or whatever. There are months when I hardly post anything at all, but sometimes I do make up for it by posting excessively hahaha. The locked entries feature contributes hugely to this. I don't think I'd post half as much if I couldn't lock my entries. I check my friends page several times a day though, I love reading up on my friend's lives. I don't post comments as much as I used to, but yeah I still do. Mostly when I really want a friend to know that hey, I still exist and read their posts or when it's to say something different from all of the other comments that have posted.

I post pretty frequently, but a lot of my friends have admitted to being lurkers. Which sort of bugs me, since, like many people posting about inane stuff, I'm a comment junkie.
